Owen, Robert
(1771-1858) Оуэн, Роберт
Английский социалист-утопист. В 1825 приехал в США, где основал общину [commune] "Новая Гармония" [New Harmony] в Индиане. После провала этого эксперимента вернулся в Англию. Учение Оуэна сыграло определенную роль в просвещении английских рабочих и развитии социалистической мысли.
